Shipping five gallon pails is ridiculously expensive; in general, the major carriers (like UPS) charge $40.00 (sometimes less, oftentimes more) to ship each five gallon pail if those pails are not placed in a box to residential addresses. To obtain a cheaper rate, on small orders (less than five, 5 gallon pails), I usually put the pails in boxes.

To offset this expense, I split this generally anticipated per pail shipping cost of $40 with my customers: they pay $20 per pail and I pay the other $20 per pail. But if you live out in the boondocks, you can expect to pay much more than $40.00 per pail. In any event, my max contribution is $20.00 per pail; if UPS or FedEx charge me more than $40.00 per pail, I will need to contact you to have you split the additional expense.

If you live in an area easily and regularly serviced by UPS or FedEx, you can expect to pay $20 extra per each five gallon pail of the SILOX for your share of the shipping costs. But if you live outside of their usual service area or in a rural area, costs can—and often do—dramatically increase. If you live in a rural area, contact me (Roy Spears/ (520) 331-4004) first so I can determine the anticipated shipping cost to your home.
