SILOX Flagstone Water Repellent is a stain and U.V. resistant water repellent made for porous substrates such as flagstone and saltillo tile. Unfortunately, it seems that most flagstone purchased today is of inferior quality as compared to what one could purchase thirty years ago. Purchase your typical grade of flagstone today and you will be shocked to see how rapidly it begins to delaminate from itself. Poor quality flagstone is prone to moisture damage that not only accelerates deterioration, but can be a haven for all types of unsightly molds, mildew and algae. Even untreated high quality flagstone that is continually exposed to moisture (pool and spa areas, flagstone on irrigated grass areas, etc.) or high traffic areas can be very susceptible to mold and foot traffic soiling.
